Laurie Baldwin

I’m focused on building practical machine learning projects with an emphasis on natural language processing and text-based systems. My work centers on understanding how language can be structured, analyzed, and interpreted through data. I’m particularly interested in the connection between language, behavior, and pattern recognition, and how these ideas can be applied in simple, functional AI systems. I approach learning through hands-on projects, building and refining models using Python and tools like scikit-learn, while developing a deeper understanding of data preprocessing and real-world application. Alongside my technical work, I maintain a writing space called Clear Mind Logs, where I explore ideas around behavior, mindset, and observation. This allows me to think through concepts more deeply and bring a different perspective into the way I approach problem-solving. I’m currently continuing to grow my skills in machine learning and NLP, while building a portfolio of projects that reflect both technical ability and structured thinking.
